Match day 13-Ultra Fabrication YWPL 05/02/2025
In The Ultra Fabrication Super League Clockhouse P visited the unbeaten Dick Turpin, who took a commanding 4-0 home lead with wins for Tom Wilson, Matt Johnston, Bob Kelly and Pooky Wilson. Gary Pearce stopped the onslaught to make it 4-1 followed by two nice clearances from Simon Recchia and a win for Ped Manfredi to level the game at 4-4. Pooky made it 5-4 to the Turpin , before CH P took the last three games, Neil Rippon two and Recchia one for a 5-7 Clockhouse P win and an end to the Dick Turpin's unbeaten run.
The Huntington Derby saw Huntington WMC C defeat Huntington WMC B 9-3 with Adam Myerscough , Keith Thornton , Si Calvert , Bri Baxter all winning two frames each and Adam Clark winning one for the victory
Clockhouse A stay top of the Super League with a 8-4 victory against #upthebish Si Newby giving Clockhouse an early 1-0 lead before a Break and Dish from Alice Paylor levelled the scores at 1-1, Clockhouse then took control of the game with Craig Fox winning two and Paul Thomas winning one frame to give Clockhouse a 4-1 lead. In the sixth frame Rob Barron had a Break and Dish to win a frame back 4-2. Martin Oxberry extended the Clocks lead to 5-2 , Alice Paylor won a frame back for Bishopthorpe 5-3 , Daniel Witcombe extending the clocks lead to 6-3 , Rob Barron won the tenth frame for Bish to
Make the score 6-4. Clockhouse took control of the match with Si Newby and Paul Thomas winning the last two frames for the Clockhouse to secure the 8-4 win.
Division 2 still has a lot to play for at both ends of the table . At the bottom a short in numbers Lawrence got an impressive win away at Rackemup Clifton with Chris Brown (3) Graham Pinder and Craig Winn 2 each .The Hammers reduced their points difference to at the top smashing The Saddle Inn 11-1 Lance Cameron again winning all 3 of his frames .
Bishopthorpe A had their lead reduced with an entertaining 6-6 draw at home to Edi Arms .Joe Curtis (2) put Bish into a 4-1 lead then the shot of the season from Raftery to come off the cushion and send the ball in to the middle to stun Dan king, not to be outdone Carl Elsby replied with the black ball of the season a full length cut to make the score 6-4 , it was down to Jammy Clark to take the last two frames to level the scores at 6-6
In Division 3 The Bay Horse extended their lead at the top of the table with an 8-4 win against the Windmill. Hogs Head defeated the Beagle B 7-5 to stay in second place
