Match day 12- Ultra Fabrication YWPL 22/01/2025

In the Ultra Fabrication YWPL Super League Clockhouse A extended their lead at the top of the Super League with Si Newby (3) , Craig Fox (2), Paul Thomas (3) , Martin Oxberry (1) , Daniel Witcombe (2) all winning frames to secure an 11-1 victory.

Upthebish had an impressive win against high flyers Clockhouse P, Clockhouse P raced in to a 0-2 lead with Nige Batey winning (2) frames Upthebish bounced back winning the next (9) frames with wins for Rob Barron (3) , Alice Paylor (3) , Phil Appleton (2) and Tom Thompson with the Break and Dish, Nigel Thompson won the final frame for Clockhouse final score 9-3 win to Upthebish.

Heworth A v Dick Turpin A was a close encounter with the scores tied at 4-4 Pooky Wilson and Dean Whithead won the ninth and tenth frame to make the score 4-6 , in the eleventh frame Heworth’s Paul Mahoney stepped up and won to give Heworth hope at 5-6. In the final frame skipper Matt Johnston defeated Steve Thomas to ensure a 5-7 win for the Turpin.

At the bottom of the table Haxby defeated York Hospital Club A with the scores 4-3 Haxby took control of the game winning the eighth , ninth, tenth and twelfth frames with Mark Jagger (3) and Chris Mcilroy (1) to secure an 8-4 win.

Huntington WMC C got back to winning ways over Lawrence 8 Ballers Adam Myerscough (2) , Si Calvert (1) , Keith Thornton (3) and Bri Baxter all winning frames final scores 9-3.

In Division 2 top of the table clash saw leaders Bishopthorpe A share the points with The Hammers . The hammers stormed into a 4-0 lead . Bishopthorpe A dug deep and Dave Hollings wining three frames gave Bishopthorpe a 6-5 lead . In the final frame Lance Cameron ensured the points shared with a break and dish final score 6-6.

Edi Arms A kept up the promotion fight with a 8-4 win at Dick Turpin B with Nathan Ketty (2) took a 4-2 lead but as always Jammy Clark (2) produced the goods to get the win

Grey Horse won against Lawrence B 7-5 Ryan Lockwood (3) keeping them in promotion contention .

In Division 3 in the Huntington derby , Huntington Sports Club took the bragging rights defeating top of the table Hoggs Head 8-4 with wins for Steve Pepper (3) , Daniel James )2) , Emma Rollinson (1) , Dave Watson (1) and Michael Baker (1).

The Bay Horse Stamford Bridge won 8-4 against the Crescent B taking them to the top of the Division 3 table wins for Mark Tomlinson (2), Tony Brown (2), Nick Ramsden (3), Max Colmann (1)
