Round 6 - Ultra Fabrication YWPL 31/10/24

In the Ultra Fabrication  Super League Clockhouse P remain unbeaten after a win against CH ‘A’ . Si Reccia and Si Newby shared  the first two games before Gary Pearce took two from Craig Fox.  The A team fought back with 2 wins each for Paul Thomas and Martin Oxberry followed by wins from Frank  Nicholson and  Nigel  Thompson leaving the match finely balanced at 5-5.   Recchia took the 11th game followed by a reverse dish in the final game by Pearce to complete a 5-7 win for the CH P team.

The Dick Turpin visited the Lighthorsman and left with a 3-9 victory. With a game in hand they sit second in the table four points behind Clockhouse A, 

Haxby A visited #upthebosh and left with a 5-7 win , Haxby A raced to a 3-5 lead with Paul Kelly (2) Chris Mcilroy Jack Grange winning frames, Joe Spratt and Mark Jagger then secured the next two frames to take a 3-7 lead, Jimmy Lee won the 11th and 12th Frame to ensure Bish reduced the lead to 5-7.

Lawrence 8 Ballers had an impressive 9-3 victory against Hospital Club A with the 8 Ballers Captained by Carl Daly winnings seven of the first 8 frames to set them on the way to a 9-3 victory 

In Division 2 the game of the week , the Ed to Ed ended in shock as Edinburgh arms As  silenced their nosiey neighbours Edinburgh arms A with the As winning 9-3 to take bragging rights .

The hammers continued their steady start with a 6-6 draw against Burton  warriors , Lance Cameron with 2 wins including a reverse dish

In other games an improving Dick  Turpin b won 11-1 against Lawrence B Troy Williams , Daniel smith & Nathan jetty   with 3 wins each

In division three top of  the table New Earswick lost 7-5 to mid table York Hospital Club.  with some great clearances from the  Hospital team to win the crucial middle frames.

The battle of the beagle took place Beagle B v Beagle A with Jade Ross leading the team to a 9-3 victory for Beagle B 

The Hoggs Head visited the Hammers too and won 8-4 with Paul Minskip and Shaun Major winning six of the eight frames to help the Hoggs to victory

Next week sees the first round of the singles knockout 112 players entered the matched  take place across multiple venues a further update from a selection of the matches will be provided next week.
