Fixtures round 1 - 18/09/2024

The Dick Turpin won their first game of the Ultra Fabrication York Wednesday Pool Super League Season beating #upthebish. The visitors #upthebish stormed into a 0-2 lead only for The Turpin  to get back into the game at 2-2. By the 12th frame the score was 6-5 the Dick Turpin captain Matt Johnston kept his nerve to complete the win by beating #upthebish captain Tom Thompson in  the last frame for a 7-5 win.

Newly promoted Huntington wmc A got there season underway with a 9-3 win against a strong Lawrence 8 Ballers team Huntington Captain Joe Snowden made a great clearance too to make the win safe and Andrew Coverdale won both his frames in his debut for the team after a deadline day move from Haxby A.

The pick of the games In Division 2 was Bishopthorpe A following relegation in 2023/24 kicked off there season with a 10-2 win against Dick Turpin B.

In Divison 3 newly entered Bay Horse Stamford Bridge overturned The Rec Copmanthorpe 10-2.
