Cup Knockout 11/09

The York Wednesday pool league started With the Team Knockout Cup on the 11th September we had 16 round two ties 7 teams qualified from the preliminary round 32 teams joined at round two 

The pick of the round two ties saw the Lighthorsman visiting and overcoming the current League Champions Clockhouse A 5-7 captain James Medley said he was proud of the team performance we went 0-2 up and the confidence grew I am very pleased to be in the hat for the next round

The winners of the cup in 2024 Huntington C overcome a newly entered team Beagle A 7-2 with Adam Myerscough the current IPA 2024 European Amateur Champion winning two frames.

The league starts next week a full league programme is scheduled for Wednesday 18th September
