York Pool League restarts 4th September 2024 !

It has been a busy off season for the York Wednesday Pool League , Over the Summer we have been promoting the league in York. This has included social media campaigns and posters in all pubs with pool tables as well as a pre season tournament to support teams to get ready for the new season. This has helped the league to grow from two divisions and 24 teams to three divisions and 39 teams something we are very proud of.

The new season starts on Wednesday 4th September 2024 and will run till July 2025 the Clockhouse A will be looking to defend their title in the top Division, Huntington C and The Dick Turpin will be looking to challenge closely again. The York University team playing out of the Edinburgh Arms will be looking for promotion in there debut seasons great to form links with the university pool society. 

Througout the season as well as the League we have Singles , Doubles and a Team Knockout Cup. We also have tournaments and events at the Clockhouse Pub in Acomb great venue for pool in York with five tables free to play with a small £5 deposit for the hire of the balls. The Clockhouse also run Monday Tuesday and Thursday independent (blackball singles)Leagues
