A warm welcome to all players of the EDPL, this is the first official communication for the winter season.  We as a committee would like to start by saying a big thank you to all teams in the summer league.  With 5 hotly contested divisions, as well as the cup competitions, I think you can all agree that it was another very successful summer of pool. We extend our thanks to Ambers who hosted our presentation evening, which was a great night all round.

Congratulations to all winners & promoted teams & we hope you are looking forward to a bumper winter campaign.

EDPL Pre-winter season Committee Meeting.

Us as a committee gathered together on the 12^nth of October to discuss the upcoming winter league.  With an impressive 6 divisions , making that 500 players registered, it promises to be a great winter league.

League Fixtures & cup draws were organised & are now live on the website.  As always in the winter we will be running singles doubles & 3-man team competitions,with player registration now live on the website, captains can register players/teams from their dashboard.  Costs for entries are as follows,

·      Singles £5

·      Doubles £10

·      3-man team £15

     Ladies singles £5

     We have decided to increase entry fees, which means bigger payouts at the end.

Entries must be in by 14^th November NO entries will be accepted after this date.

Please ensure ALL players entered into competitions have their phone number input into their player profile (You can do this on your login under team details).  We will remove every entry where no phone number is present before we do the draws.  All players entering comps must play a minimum of 1 league match between rounds or they will be removed.  Should a team withdraw from the league, all entries from that team will be removed.

For those who haven’t yet done so, you MUST add all your players to your team. Failure to do so will mean you cannot field a side when you come to access a match via your login & will therefore forfeit that match.

Any player transfers(past registration) or sign on above the 14 allowed there is a £3 paybale charge, please request to relevant commitee member to organise.  Until payment is received no transfers are accepted.  This can be done up until half wat through the season.

We have decided moving forward to update committee members set roles to help us move the league forward, we hope this will allow us to continue running the league as smooth as possible.  We have decided on the following roles,

League Fees

Captains should have received an email invoice for league fees, which you will also find on the rackemapp, on your team page. If anyone is wanting to enter competitions, then payment for that will be added to in a separate invoice to be paid separately.

Payments are required by the 14th november & competition fees before the first round commences.  first round comps to be completed by the 5th Decemeber.

Winter AGM 2024

We ask all captains to please attend our meeting on 17th October at The Pear Tree in Ripley 7pm start, to discuss any issues before the winter league begins.
