EDPL newsletter

Hi everyone of the EDPL,

As we come to the end of the summer season, we are starting to make plans for summer presentation & winter season.

Presentation evening will be October 10th at Ambers starting at 7:30pm with our usual 1 frame ko comp, enteries in by 8pm, as always food will be provided so please come along and support the night. Trophy presentation will commence at 9pm.

Winter League will start on 24th october, registration will be open on 13th september & will close on the 11th of October for exisiting & new teams. We are going to limit entires to 40 based on Summer league numbers so it will be first come first served.  Any teams entered after the 40 spots are filled will go onto a reserve list unless we have numbers to run a 6th league.  We will be running the same cup format as the summer league, also we will have our singles doubles & 3 man competitions running, entries will be open on app after registartion period.  We would also like to continue with the ladies only singles comp, format dependant on number of entries. Any new teams wishing to enter please get in touch with the comittee so we can set you up on the app.

Following the conclusion of the round robin games, cup draws have been made for the quarter finals of both cups & will be posted on socials with fixtures & dates.

We ask could winners of trophies in the winter season please begin to return to either the Phoenix or The Eclipse so we can begin to organise engraving.

Finally there will be a Winter AGM on the 17th oct venue & start time to be confirmed.
