Eaton Socan Ex-Service Club
A warm welcome awaits at Eaton Socon Ex Services Club. Situated in rural Cambridgeshire, this busy, vibrant and homely Club is based and founded on supporting ex members of all Services, providing a calming atmosphere and many activities. Our membership however is not exclusive to those of the services and we welcome all who wish to be part of a great community spirit. In the tradition of Ex Services Clubs, we contribute to local communities and charities with events, promotions and competitions on a regular basis. From regular very popular sporting competitions including pool, darts and the ever popular skittles, to the riotous weekly bingo with generous prizes, ESESC provides a great range of events for young and old to enjoy. The Club is a popular venue and available for hire for all manner of events. With a well equipped bar, air conditioning to stay cool in summer, a stage for the all important band and plenty of space for a dance floor and ample seating, you can dance the night away with your special event here at ESESC. With competitive membership fees and friendly faces, ESESC is a Club to be proud of and welcomes everyone. Our premises were first converted by voluntary members of the British Legion and for use by them in 1949. The Royal British Legion subsequently purchased the building in 1972 however it was then renamed the Eaton Socon Ex Service Club in 1992 under the auspices of the St Neots Town Council. Our club however continues its close ties with the Royal British Legion and all serving or ex serving members of the Army, Royal Airforce, Royal Navy, Police and Fire services.
