Description

The Singles Tournament is an individual competition open to eligible league players, providing an exciting path to the Singles Cup and a secondary Singles Plate competition for added opportunities. The first round will be held at multiple venues, with each location producing one winner. The competition culminates in the semifinals and finals, which will be held on finals day in January.

  • Round 1: Best of 3 matches at 8 venues, with 1 winner from each venue advancing.
  • Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final: Progressively longer match formats, with best of 5 for quarterfinals, best of 7 for semifinals, and best of 9 for the final.

  • Eligibility: Players must be registered with a team in the Egham Pool League.
  • Participation Requirement: Each player must have played in at least 3 matches (league or cup) to qualify for entry.

  1. Entry Fees: All entries are non-refundable.
  2. Entry Submission: Players or team captains should use the provided PayPal link for payment. For group entries, use the team name as the payment reference; for individual entries, use the full player name.
  3. Non-Attendance: If a player does not show up for their scheduled match, they will be removed from the competition with no point deductions.
  4. Plate Competition: Players who lose in the first round of the Singles Cup will automatically enter the Singles Plate for a second chance to compete.
