The Wednesday night divisions are now provisionally full and we have one space left in the Tuesday night divisions.

 

Update: 26th August

As it stands we are now limiting each night to 30 teams and there are only a few spaces left. There are still a number of teams who have registered and not paid their registration fee. Your registration will only be accepted once this had been paid.

 

Update: 25th August

Spaces for the new season are now limited for both evenings. If you wish to register then you need to do so as soon as possible. We would also like to remind teams that if you do not play from an invoiced venue then your registration will only be approved once you have paid your team registration fee.

 

Registration for the 2024/25 season of the Grimsby, Cleethorpes & District Pool League is now open and will close on the 1st September.

The Lounge has chosen not to renew their sponsorship of the League and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all of their support. They have played an integral part in promoting the game of pool in our region and we wish them all of the best for the future. Our sponsor for the new season will be Racks Pool & Sports Bar and we look forward to working with them as they host our knockout evenings and presentation night this season.

The cost of registration will be £40 per team. This includes entry into the team knockout competition and the registration of up to 12 players. Additional players can be registered at a cost of £2 per player. Players cannot play for more than one team on the same night.

All new teams are required to pay a £25 new team bond, which is refunded upon completion of the season. The following teams are eligible for bond refunds from the 2023/24 season - Birds Eye’s 501s, The Holt Revolt, Hopeless Grimsby Anchors, Market Tavern B, The Seas, Sunnyside Allstar-Believers, Wellow Pocket Pickers.

If your team plays from a venue with multiple tables and teams you will be required to select the correct table number when registering. Please do not pick a random table number. Check with your venue beforehand to confirm which table your team will be playing on.

If your team played last season or in the recent summer league then you will already be on the RackEmApp system and won’t need to create a new team from scratch. Please remember when registering players to search for them first using their surname to see if they are already on the RackEmApp system. This prevents duplicate player profiles from being created.

The following venues will be invoiced for their teams - Birds Eye Sports & Social Club, Cleethorpes Constitutional Club, Cromwell Social Club, The Lounge, Racks Pool & Sports Bar. If your team does not play from one of these venues then your registration for the forthcoming season will only be accepted once payment has been received. We will not be chasing teams for payment. If you fail to pay by the deadline on the 1st September then your registration will be declined. Payment can be made via bank transfer into the League's bank account.

Please note that it is your team’s responsibility to ensure that all fees are paid and not the venue you play from. If you play from an invoiced venue and the venue fails to pay, your team will be required to pay the outstanding fees.
