Leaders taken all the way by Smashers

Leaders Lucky Break 'B' were pushed all the way by the Sultans Smashers before running out 8 - 7 winners. Gareth Watkins notching a pot trick including the all important match winning frame. Sam Baginskis break dishing for the unlucky Smashers. Newdigate Sports lost ground on the leaders as they suffered a narrow 8 - 7 defeat against Luck Break 'A' in another terrific match. Ryan Dolman and Steve Nesden were both parked in  the pot zone win 3 wins each for the Break, Ryan's included a break dish. Chris McDermott with a pot trick for the Newdigate who remain in 2nd spot. Team Gurkha Corner found their potting boots this week as they beat Coton Sports 10 - 5, Ant Clarke weighing in with 3 wins including a break dish. Shot of the night though was from Coton's Kyle Allen, potting a difficult red down the rail out of a snooker and landing plumb on the black. Elsewhere Coton Gloves out potted Miners Rat Pack 10 - 5, Al Pearce and Brandon Walker each with a hat trick of wins for the Gloves.  

As there are no games to catch up this week we will be holding a 9 ball comp at the Lucky Break Pool Hall, break off around 7.30pm.
