Favourites Lucky Break 'B' potted their way pasted the Miners Rat Pack 8 -2 to make the semi finals of the Champions Trophy. Steve McEnery and Craig West on cue with 2 wins each while Jack Schofield had a break dish amongst his 2 wins. Team Gurkha Corner went 2 - 1 up against Newdigate before the wheels fell off, Newdigate talking the next 7 frames for victory. Lucky Break 'A' produced some excellent pool as they saw off visitors Coton Gloves 8 - 3, Jess Parker and Jack Chippendale the pick of the hosts players while Brandon Walker potted 2 wins for the Gloves including a reverse dish. The last semi final berth was taken by Sultans Smashers who beat Coton Sorts 8 - 3 in a very entertaining cup tie, Steve Cooper and Rod Brown the top Smashers while Shaun Johnstone potted 2 wins for Coton.
