Lucky Break 'B' are the early leaders of the Nuneaton Blackball League after they beat Coton Gloves 13 - 2. To be fair the scoreline doesn't quite relect the game but Gloves will rue missed chances. Craig West, Carl Harris, Jack & Greig Schofield all potting 3 frames each while Gloves captain Nick Walker won both his frames for Coton. Lucky Break 'A' sit 2nd after they beat Coton Sports 10 - 5. They took a close break off section 3 - 2 before taking all 5 frames in the middle section including a reverse dish from Max Bromley, Coton did win the final section 3 - 2 but will look back on missed chances during the middle 5 frames. The Sultan's Smashers beat Newdigate Sports 8 - 7 in a fantastic match , both sides were in fine form but fittingly it was the Sultan himself Danny Barr clinching the all important 15th beating Newdigate captain Micky O'Loughlin for the win. Finally in another humdinger of a match Team Gurhka Corner pipped the Miners Arms 8 - 7, Michael 'The Tsunami' Travis potting the match winner. Ginger magician Ryan McCool starring for the Corner while a nervous Hope Copson missed the black for what would of been the first break dish of the League, the Miners had Paul Barnett rolling back the years as he took out 3 good finishes. Thanks to everyone for getting to grips with this most excellent app and for making it a quality opening night!!!!
