Welcome to the Downunder 8Ball League - Sunday Sesh! Join us every Sunday for some Pool, while watching the Footy. Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to have some fun, our league offers a fantastic opportunity to compete and socialize.

 

Event Details

  • Schedule: Every Sunday from 2:00 PM
  • Start Date: June 16, 2024
  • Venue: Downunder Bar, 102 Lake St, Cairns City QLD 4870

     Note: Team registraions close on 15 June 2024. [Captains click to register a Team]

 

League Format

  • Teams: Teams of 4 players
  • Match Structure: Round Robin of singles matches and two doubles matches
    • Rounds: 4 rounds of 4 singles games and 2 doubles games
  • Weekly Matches: Each team plays against a different team every Sunday
  • Duration: All teams play every week until they have played against each other

 

Rules

 

Scoring System

  • Points: 2 points for every game won, 1 point for every draw
  • Finals: Held at the end of the season to determine the overall champion

 

Fees

  • Player Registration: One-off fee of $33 for the season
  • Team Match Fee: $44 total per team each Sunday

 

Prizes

  • Cash Prizes: Awarded to the winning and runner-up teams after the finals
    • Amount: To be determined after team registrations and announced before the league starts

 

Terms and Conditions

All players must adhere to the terms and conditions of The Downunder 8Ball League and the Downunder Bar venue. The Downunder 8Ball League and the Downunder Bar reserve the right to remove or ban any player for misconduct or violation of these terms. The terms and conditions will be provided upon request.
